This new platform is an important step for environmental transparency, water monitoring, and public access to better information about the condition of surface waters across the country. By developing the first Moldova water quality map, ZIUZEA SRL aims to make water data easier to access, easier to understand, and more useful for citizens, researchers, institutions, businesses, and everyone interested in water quality in Moldova.
The map has been developed using open-source data and government data, bringing together valuable information in one place. This first version creates the foundation for a much larger and more advanced platform that will continue to grow over time.
In the near future, the Moldova water quality map will be upgraded with new features that will allow any user to explore water quality dynamics, see who provides the data, understand contamination levels, and access many other important water indicators. The platform is being designed not only as an informational map, but as a practical digital tool that can help users better understand changes in water quality and support more informed environmental decisions
ZIUZEA SRL will also use this platform to showcase its floating wetland installations and demonstrate how nature-based solutions can contribute to cleaner water, ecological restoration, and more sustainable water management in Moldova.
